Of course we cannot always share details about our work with customers, but nevertheless it is nice to show our technical achievements and share some of our implemented solutions.
In the past years Infiniroot received an increased amount of requests, whether or not our servers are located in a ISO 27001 certified data center. We got this question from both existing but also from new potential customers. To handle the increasing demand on this data center certification, we have decided to look for an alternative data center.
After reviewing multiple sites and offers, we decided for a data
center which is physically closer to our main office - we therefore
also improve our access to the data center and response times.
In the past two months, Infiniroot has built its new server infrastructure in this new data center, which becomes our new primary data center location.
The new data center offers improved security (ISO 27001 certified), excellent connectivity/peering and for us personally less travel distance (and therefore quicker response time) to access the data center.
The work on our new server infrastructure started in July 2024. We've used this opportunity to upgrade our network and server infrastructure and significantly increase the resources and performances, including internal networking and backup capacities.
Since mid August 2024 newly created dedicated managed vServers are already created and running in the new datacenter location. Existing managed vServers will be migrated in September. Customers with dedicated physical hardware have already been migrated.
